Bruno Lucas is Associate Professor at Université Paris-Saclay, member of the ALEA group of Irène Joliot-Curie (IJCLab).

He worked in industrial fields of Nd:Yag laser. Then he focused his research on Molecular Physics. Recently, his research led him to take interest about electrons short bunches (fs) generation. In the LXA group, he takes part in XUV source generation and the project of electron short bunches accelerated by Laser-Plasma interaction with the LAL.

He teaches in the Photonics and Optical Systems (PSO) department of Polytech Paris-Sud and in the Physics Department (PMCC, Magistère de physique).
