Inspiring children from an early age by familiarising them with scientific tools/concepts seems to me to be decisive. With the support of the Royal Microscopy Society, I am in the process of transposing their action created in 2011 which allows primary schools to borrow a microscopy activity kit and do science in a fun way.
I wish to thank the RMS for their advices and the possibility to visit last MArch and experience their kit
Participating teachers have noticed a clear increase in interest and curiosity for science as a result of these activities. With the GDR ImaBio, we are currently putting together the first kit to test and validate the transposition of the concept. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you are interested to help/support this initiative
