Development of a microfluidic device to assess <em>in vitro <\/em>adverse drug reactions, on a human-like liver lobule. Combining microfluidics and novel biomaterials (hydrogels) with co-culture of four different cell types differentiated from iPSCs: hepatocytes, cholangiocytes, endothelial and Kupffer cells. Microfluidics will enable liver microarchitecture mimicking, compartmentalization and therefore creation of a 3D model.
