Reimagine physics teaching

Recipe for hands-on

Ask participants to create low-cost physics experiments from scratch, in less than 2 hours ! A fun, team-building, hands-on activity.
They pick random constraints among : tiny / paper / fits in an envelope / survives a 5 meter drop / has an artistic touch / huge / sports related /uses stairs / enhance your smartphone / works from distance. Participants then create an experiment using (very) basic frugal equipment.
At the end they show it to everybody, that’s the best part. This activity allows to explore various types of physics, and above all it demonstrates that a nice experiment can be built in a (very) small amount of time. Check here for various examples of what the participants achieved.
