Son d\u00e9ploiement dans les m\u00e9tropoles est limit\u00e9 par un risque g\u00e9ologique difficilement pr\u00e9dictible. UPGEO travaillera \u00e0 mettre au point un outil num\u00e9rique pr\u00e9dictif permettant d\u2019effectuer des simulations thermo-hydro-m\u00e9caniques et d\u2019\u00e9valuer la performance d\u2019un lieu donn\u00e9 en Ile-de-France sur son potentiel g\u00e9othermique.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span id=\"lblEnjeuxObjectifFr\">Enjeux et objectifs<\/span><\/strong><br><span id=\"lblEnjeuxObjectifFrData\">La g\u00e9othermie, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire la mobilisation de la chaleur contenue dans le sous-sol \u00e0 tr\u00e8s basse, basse ou haute temp\u00e9rature, est l\u2019une des m\u00e9thodes pour r\u00e9aliser la transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique. La nouvelle programmation pluriannuelle de l\u2019\u00e9nergie renouvelable vient de revoir \u00e0 la baisse les objectifs en terme de d\u00e9ploiement de la g\u00e9othermie profonde en France, notamment en raison des risques g\u00e9ologiques \u00e9lev\u00e9s qu\u2019une op\u00e9ration nouvelle n\u2019obtienne pas une ressource g\u00e9othermique pr\u00e9sentant des caract\u00e9ristiques de d\u00e9bit et de temp\u00e9rature suffisantes pour assurer la rentabilit\u00e9 du projet pendant sa dur\u00e9e de vie. Ce risque g\u00e9ologique constitue un obstacle au d\u00e9veloppement futur de la g\u00e9othermie en France et en Ile-de-France. Ce projet consistera \u00e0 travailler sur des m\u00e9thodes innovantes de mod\u00e9lisation en proposant des solutions qui optimisent et explorent le d\u00e9veloppement de nouvelles zones en domaine s\u00e9dimentaire. Cette optimisation n\u00e9cessite (1) une connaissance pr\u00e9cise de l\u2019h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e9n\u00e9it\u00e9 du r\u00e9servoir en termes de g\u00e9om\u00e9tries s\u00e9dimentaires, porosit\u00e9\/perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9, connectivit\u00e9 du r\u00e9servoir et (2) des simulations num\u00e9riques fiables des \u00e9coulements et flux de chaleur \u00e0 +30 ans, voire +100 ans apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9but de la production.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Le principal objectif du projet est de r\u00e9ussir le changement d\u2019\u00e9chelle entre la perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9 mesur\u00e9e en laboratoire et la connectivit\u00e9 s\u00e9dimentaire des corps r\u00e9servoirs \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle kilom\u00e9trique. La fa\u00e7on d\u2019homog\u00e9n\u00e9iser les coefficients efficaces comme la porosit\u00e9, la perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9, la d\u00e9formation m\u00e9canique (tenseur de Gassman et coefficient de Biot) ou la dispersion thermique effective par des \u00e9quations valables en tout point pour les constituants fluides et solides constituera le d\u00e9fi majeur de ce projet qui n\u00e9cessitera de coupler des donn\u00e9es et concepts g\u00e9ologiques et math\u00e9matiques.
