Les conditions de travail des doctorant·es et des docteur·es sans poste mériteraient aussi un palmarès : nombre de financements doctoraux insuffisant, précarité financière, travail gratuit, raréfaction des postes, durée de financement insuffisante pour terminer sa thèse, harcèlement moral, sexuel…
Par où commencer ?
Chaque année, les doctorant·es doivent s’acquitter de frais conséquents pour pouvoir s’inscrire. Pourtant, notre travail de recherche et bien souvent également d’enseignement est indispensable à la continuité du service public de l’ESR. Des universités ont pris acte de l’absurdité de forcer les doctorant·es à payer pour travailler, et exonèrent largement cette frange de leurs personnels. Pourquoi pas Saclay ?
Rejoignons-nous
Nous sommes doctorant·es en économie, informatique, sociologie, optique, science politique, machine learning, histoire ou encore biologie, travaillant dans sept laboratoires différents. Nous fondons un collectif pour nous mettre en contact, échanger sur nos conditions de vie, de travail et d’études, réfléchir ensemble à nos revendications et à nos moyens d’actions. Plus nous serons nombreux et nombreuses, plus nous serons efficaces, et nos revendications et moyens d’actions adaptés.
Quel que soit votre statut, étudiant·es ou personnels, et votre métier, CDD, vacataires, doctorant·es ou docteur·es sans poste, rejoignons-nous pour agir ensemble !

Let us rejoice, Paris-Saclay has reached the 13th position in the Shanghai ranking of the best universities in the world!
The working conditions of students researchers, both graduate or assistant, and PhDs without position also deserve a prize: too low number of doctoral fundings, financial insecurity, unpaid (and unrecognized) work, structural lack of secured teaching and researching positions, insufficient length of doctoral funding to complete one’s thesis, moral and sexual harassment, or worse…
Where to begin?
Every year, doctoral students have to pay substantial fees in order to enroll. However, our research and often also our teaching work are essential to the continuity of the higher education and research public service. Some universities have realised the absurdity of forcing doctoral students to pay to have the right to work ( !), and implemented wide-reaching exoneration schemes. Why not Saclay?`
Let’s rally
We are doctoral students in economics, computer science, sociology, optics, political science, machine learning, history and biology, working in seven different laboratories. We are founding a collective to get in touch with each other, to discuss our living, working and studying conditions, to think together about our demands and our means of action. The more numerous we are, the more effective we will be, and the more appropriate our demands and means of action.
Whatever your status, student or staff, and whatever your job, whether you are on a fixed-term contract, a part-time worker, a doctoral student or a doctoral student in post-doctoral position or ATER, let’s rally together to act!
